it is ok to add snails, if you use an auto top...

it is ok to add snails, if you use an auto top off system the snails can reek havoc by causing floods while the tamper with float switches... just something to think about.

I had green water problems before and fixed it by using an Octopus Skimmer and added four clams. My have the clams grown. Hope this helps

Kalk Reactor

I bought a simple reactor from Waynesworld and added a maxi jet 404 and I call it a Nelson DIY. about every 4 days or so I add 1/4 cup of Kalk in the reactor and use a PH controller from Milewaukee...
