It sounds like you already know what the problem is: the CO2 from your air conditioner. No matter how much stuff you dump into your tank to up the pH, as long as there is excess CO2 hanging around it...

Yup, you're absolutly right. My point was there's other issues to keep in mind besides lowest price and biggest capacity. The Tunze may have a higher upfront cost, but you'll make up that cost...
