I agree. Painting that stand would be a crime. Stain would look nicer no matter which way the grain is going. Where are the cut edges that are showing? A lot of times you can cover those up.

Lunar lights are really only for looks. They don’t put off any heat so there wouldn’t be a fan required. I run mine from when my lights go off until they come back on.

This is not uncommon at all with leathers. He could be being “moody” or shedding. Make sure he is getting moderate flow and he should be fine.
