I've had a fuge for a couple of years & a friend...

I've had a fuge for a couple of years & a friend has suggested to take it down to avoid ORP issues in the future. So I thought I would try to get some feedback.

I need some input. I've read & heard conflicting arguments regarding keeping a fuge in the system.
Will some of you share your thoughts with me on the subject?
