I have the same problem and my phosphate reads...
I have the same problem and my phosphate reads zero. I have a cheap skimmer so I'm assuming it's the DOS's that is causing the algae problem. have you considered this part of your parameters?

Sebae could be H. Malu or H. Crispa and that pictured, in my opinion, is neither.
It's to my understanding that E. Quadricolor is the one without any verrucae present.
