Yeah, I'd say it would work great as long as it wasn't sps...but you could do sps if you figure out how to get your params in order. The only thing that would suck is that you would have to start...

I thought it improved my pix...but I don't use the filter outside...at my work we have neons all over, and it really helped knock the glare down. Also my tank pix look better with the blueish MH...IMO
