Softie tank question.

What equipment do you run on your softie tanks? I am setting up my 90 gallon and so far I have the basics. Good lighting, sump and skimmer, good pumps for water flow, and lots of live rock.

Newhere,
Sounds to me like you have what you need. About the only thing you may need are the softies themselves. =)
I have noticed that there are quite a few people on the Softie forum who even run their tank skimmerless. Good luck!

I will also be adding a canister filter full of carbon. Thanks for the reply

Carbon is a good idea for a softie tank. I run an Aqua C Remora, dual 250 watt 14K metal halides, and two or three powerheads for circulation on my 55 gallon BB mixed reef. Sounds like you are off to a good start.

Ok this is what I have so far.

Tank is a 90 gallon RR.
30 gallon sump with a Nautalis TE
48" Coralife Pro HQI/Compact Fluorescent/Lunar Light Fixture it has the 2- 250 mh and 2 96w actinc.
2 Rio Seio 820's and a little giant 3md pump
About 4" sand bed and about 100lbs live rock.

I will use a Fluval 404 for the carbon.
