I bought a tang from my LFS that I can't ID....it looks like several different tangs but not a perfect match on any I've found so far.....any help would be appreciated:

That white caudal spike stands out to me as a dussumieri tang. I want one sooo bad! They are gorgeous when older.

it's not a dussumieri tang looks like a young bariene tang to me. very nice like looking fish you got there. how much did you pay for it? would love to have one

Yeah, it looks pretty close to a Bariene......not an exact match but that could be attributed to juvenile versus adult coloration.

Could be an Acanthurus blochii also....

I paid $30......

its not blochi or Bariene

its a Acanthurus Leococheilus

white spine and black and white striped face pattern give it away
