camarojweed 01/10/2008 06:51 PM

How big is the sailfin?

Hope all is well

Jay

kynan 01/10/2008 06:59 PM

Can you post sizes and suggested tank sizes?

reefman13 01/10/2008 07:04 PM

Size on sailfin and niger pls:)

kynan 01/10/2008 07:23 PM

I took the liberty of grabbing these from a previous post.

It would suck for the fish used to a large tank to get crowded in something small. Please think about that before claiming!

strawberry grouper he is pretty big say 6-9 inches fat little guy
panther grouper 6 inches

green wolf eel 12-16 inches long he/she is very good will eat from your hand

niger trigger 5-7 inches

reefman13 01/10/2008 07:40 PM

What size tank were they in before?

kynan 01/10/2008 07:43 PM

he was selling a 240 I believe.

paulpp187 01/10/2008 08:04 PM

yes 250 its 8'x2'x25" i may have john taking them all.I'll let you know if they are not all gone

paulpp187 01/10/2008 08:17 PM

sorry jay i didn't mean to put the sailfin up there i copied it from another thread but forgot to delete. just the aggresive one's.i'm gonna try to keep the little ones( lemon peel, sailfin) in my other tank once its up and running. all is well just don't have any time and i've been adding to my gun collection and i'm running out of room. i need to buy 2 huge safe's and the only place i can put them is where the tank is.

camarojweed 01/10/2008 09:06 PM

LOL, sacrifice one hobby to support another..I know your pain...well if you want to unload the sailfin and the lemon peel...I know a 260 that has room...hope they find a good home...

Jay

Would they have a problem in my 26? ;) JK

paulpp187 01/11/2008 04:46 PM

haha the groupers alone will tip a 26 over just from one good push!!! its either get rid of the tank or buy a bigger home and i really don't feel like packing all my stuff up just yet.we have some devolpment corp. wanting to buy the last 9 houses on my street to add to the huge plaza we have right next door. I'm still waiting on an offer from them. If i had an offer already and it was a good one the choice would be simple.

tank o tang 01/11/2008 04:52 PM

careful of that imenint (sp) domain garbage

paulpp187 01/11/2008 06:51 PM

ya looked into it talked to a lawyer. he told me not to worry it would be fine

Herpn 01/11/2008 09:21 PM

Is that a Pit Bull? Dont they Bite?!

reefman13 01/11/2008 09:54 PM

The only bite if they have %$&! heads as owners. All dogs are not born mean and nasty. Some are just treated very badly. I have seen so many that are the most friendly dogs.

kydsexy 01/12/2008 02:07 AM

hahahaha I"M PRAYING that herpn is joking

i'd rather a racoon give all my dogs rabies and then lock me in a room than do what you do for a living lol (amstaff, dobie, 2 rotties, jack russel/min pin mutt)

snakes scare the crap out of me!!! i have been in a room full of timber rattlers tho, shoot me a pm and i'll tell you where they all live :D

mr pink floyd 01/12/2008 02:14 AM

im pretty sure hes joking... unless im mistaken his avatar used to be his pit bulls, and im sure he got that question tons of times

Herpn 01/12/2008 02:28 AM

OK OK hahaha I was going to let this fester over night but will chime in now. I like to see how dog owners answer ignorant questions like that. I have a Staford-shire Terr/Pit and that dog looks very much like my dog. (Best dogs ever)

Although mr pink floyd that was not my avatar you are talking about I think it was CPTOL?

reefman13, always the first to answer, good answer.

kydsexy PM box full I sent an E-mail.

Cheers,
Chuck
