for those who bought berghia nudis did they work?
just wondering if the berghia nudis from the recent group buy worked on getting rid of your aiptasia
I am on my 2nd cbb, but my ppt is a big time bully, keeps them in the corner until they starve |
I have noticed several smaller aiptasia have disappeared. I saw one berghia 3 nights ago. Had more than doubled in size. I had added 2 peps a while back but never saw them again. Don't know if they survived or not. I do have a yellow coris wrasse in there (he's cleaning up the red planaria very well) but the berghia seem to be working even with him there.
I also have seen some smaller aiptasia recently disappearing. But I have never seen the 2 berghia since 20 minutes after putting them into my daughters nano.
Yes, the 3 I had worked for me, I saw them triple team on one. Since that, I haven't seen them, I hope they survived when my tank cracked, I hope to see them again.
thanks, I may try berghia nudis next
Saw another berghia tonight. It was almost as long as an eggcrate opening. At least tripled in size. Woot!
so when your aiptasia is gone, they starve?
yep. But I have quite a bit left. When I can't see anymore aiptasia I'll try and collect the ones I can to distribute.
sounds good, I'll probably have an aiptasia propagation tank by then
I still have a few left also, I will let you know if I see anymore disappear. I think the nudis are the way to go. They took down one that had a head of about the size of a quarter, kinda like lumberjacks taking down a tree.

I am trying a Klien's Butterfly in one of my tanks that is borderline overrun with aptasia. I Put his in Wed. I'll keep Ya'll posted.
