Tank has been up and running for 3 years. I'm trying to figure out why my toadstools aren't opening up more. any suggestions?

What are your water parameters? Do the lightbulbs need changing?

scrape the back glass and your tank will look great

what kind of lighting do you have?

nova extreme 4x39 watts, and no my lights don't need changing i just bought new bulbs 4 months ago.

how long have they been closed?

2 years.. they have been like that. I have moved them around. n such .. water params are good
