Bubble tip anemone

My anemone look deflated and sucked into rock, is this normal?

Mine deflates every night. It seems healthy enough during the day so I assume it's normal.

If it stays that way for several or more days I would start to worry. If you haven't fed it in about a week, you can try to very gently see if it will take some thawed mysis shrimp or a piece of silver sides.

My RBTA will deflate the next day after a feeding until the halides come on. I have seen mine deflated for up to 2 days if agitated enough from my clowns.

I am no expert mind you but this is what I have experienced with my BTA.

Good luck with yours nybyrne.
