Just haven't had luck with fish Tank

I am a little blue, my tank is empty again nothing but live rock.
I had a damsil tank and over time i kept losing fish. Had a total of
15 different colors and types but to no evel the just start disapering. I have had reef tanks and been doing this awhile but my be i have just lost the love . In a last ditch effort i am going to try some clowns and see what happins , i would hate this 75 gallon tank to go to waste.

well if the tank just had damslefish that would explain the loss of your fish, damselfish are very aggressive and will usually kill each other if different species are kept together.

also how long has the tank been set up and what are your tank parameters

What about the water. Are you using tap water or RO? I know here in AZ I would not dream of using tap water in my tanks.

It usually isn't luck, it is reading up enough until you get it right. Get a couple of good books on saltwater fish tanks and find out what went wrong so it will be better this time. Lesley

luckily there is very decent internet sources available as well, to reinforce your knowledge

we need more information about your tank before we can help you.
What do you use for filtration if any.
What kind of water are you using - tap or RO/DI
What are the following parameters in the tank
ammonia
nitrite
nitrate
pH

If it is a reef tank also give us these
calcium
alk
magnesium

has the tank ever had any medications in it or has any of the sand or rock ever been in a tank treated with copper or other medications?

answer all those questions and we should be able to steer you correctly.
