Awesome tank JMC!!!
|
Thanks. I've rearranged the rockwork. These are older pics. I need to put up some new ones.
|
For size comparison, my queen trigger's tail is as big as my blonde naso in my other tank. The queen triggers trail is over 6" by itself. She is about 18" not counting her streamers. I love my queen trigger. Hands down the most personable fish I've ever had. Even though she is in a tank all to herself she provides all the entertainment I'll ever need from this one tank. Both of my tanks are built inwall, the 380 is the first thing you see when you enter my home, my queen trigger is in my second livingroom in the back of the house. FOWLR is the way to go if you like a lot of activity in a fish tank. I hardly ever watch television.
|
Jmc that is a beautiful tank.
What are the dimensions of the 380? Is that a live starfish with all those triggers? |
96x26x36h
LOL on the starfish. It's fake. My little girl makes me keep it in there. |
you can actually keeps queen triggers with other fish mine destroyed everything
|
no, the queen is in a tank to herself.

Here are some pics of my 180 FOWLR tank.

Just for your information (fish sizes):
Blueface and Emperor = ~7.5" Queen Angel = ~4.5" Clown Trigger = ~4" Niger Trigger = ~5.5" Hippo Tang = ~7" Naso Tang = ~7" |
Wow, nice tank Campbell. How do your Angels behave with your Tangs? I'm trying to decide between a large Angel/Tang tank or my originally planned shark pond....Decisions, decisions.
|
Thanks SaltWaterGuy! The angels are great with the tangs. My emperor grunts at the Naso every once in a while, but no nipping.
If I were you, I would go with the Large Angel/Tang tank!!! I am in the midst of planning a 96x30x36 in wall tank where I will add 3-7 more angels and a couple of more triggers and a couple of tangs. |
The way you have your rock arranged would make for a perfect reef tank! Why not remove the triggers and try a few corals? Just a thought.
|
I really don't know what I want to do. I don't want to get rid of Farrah, my little shark, but I really would like to keep some large angels and triggers...and of course my favorite, tangs.
You've probably seen these pics around, but here she is. |
JMC, any pics of your newly arranged rockwork yet?
|
I didn't think FOWLR tanks could look this nice!

The way you have your rock arranged would make for a perfect reef tank! Why not remove the triggers and try a few corals? Just a thought.
LOL!! It was a reef until my Blueface and Emperor changed to adults and they successfully ate over $2000 of coral...:mad2: |
Ahh, I see. $2,000! :eek2: That must of hurt.
|
yeah...but I love the fish. They make me happier than the coral. I have a 20 gal custom nano now that gives me my reef fix
|
very nice tank ccampbell57 I hope to have my 210 look as good as that tank. So no problems between the angles, I have heard that you can't keep a Emperor with other angles.
|
Thanks Treny! There have been no issues between the angels yet. I have had the Emperor and Blueface together for about 18 months. The emperor has been in my systems for about 3 years now.
You can keep angels together as long as they are not juvi colors since they look very similar. Plus you need to put them in together |
thanks for the tip!! I love all three of yours...
