Blue Moonlights- how to keep them on?

I've got a 55 gal FOWLR and just purchased two moolights. Can I have them on all night, or just a few hours after lights out and a few hours prior to lights on? Any advise will be useful.

well the reef is never entirely dark. if the suns not out, then the moon is. i leave mine on all night. it would be fine if you did
