Weird growths on new frag?
First are these two string anemone looking creatures. The tentacles pick up sand so idk what they could be

The second growth is green in color. While dipping it in hot water for a few min, it turned orange.

first ones are spaghetti worms which are good for you tank.

tsouth, just a small piece of advice my friend. I would never dip anything from your reef or from the ocean in hot water. There was a recent report post here and on other sights of a reefer who became EXTREMELY ill after ( can't remember if he dipped or pour hot water over his corals ) using hot water to solve an issue he had with his corals/live rock. This hot water can kill instantly things on live rock that will, not can, emit some serious vapors if inhaled. I don't mean at all to sound harsh, I would just hate to see anyone become ill if it can be avoided. Friends?
