2 or 4x 24" HO T5's for 29G?

Xenias, kenya trees, ricordia, zoolanthids . . . that's what I'm keeping. I'm in the market for a new light, MH is not an option, 30" CF or 24" HO T5? If T5s, how many? Would 2 be enough?

2 x 24" T5 would probably work fine for soft corals. I have the Aquactinics 5x24" fixture for my 29 gallon tank, and I keep SPS and a clam in there. Three bulbs instead of two might give you better color flexibility, though.

go for the 4 bulb set up. Two would be the bare minimun, and you would probably end up adding two more bulbs in the future, when you feel like trying clams or lps.
If you are doing a retro, stagger the bulbs for better coverage.

I was thinking of getting this, any comments:

Nova Extreme HO Light Fixture - 4 x 24W & Lunar Lights - 24 in.
