Dark turf like algae

I have a dark short turf like algae growing on my rock. It's almost red and impossible to scrub off the rock. Does anyone have experince with this, or know of any snails that will eat it?

Bump. Sorry guys. I would use the search function but as usual I can't get it to work.

Yep, got lots of that stuff in one of my tanks. Got green turf algae too. Margarita and turbo snails will eat it, but only as a last resort it seems. Here's some photos of my tank, look like the same stuff? http://www.mosquitonet.com/~wanderer/tanks/tank.htm

On the plus side it's suppose to be great for aborbing nitrates, and mine teams with pods that my Rainford's goby is constantly hunting. As far as eliminating it, you got me. Maybe a lawnmower blenny? Personally I don't think it's that bad looking, certainly better than hair or diatom algae.

I have found 2 things that reliably eat it. Purple tangs and long spined urchins (Diadema savignyi). Sometimes emerald crabs.
