Glass panels for sump baffles

Anyone know where i can get glass panels to add baffles for a 40b? place that can cut them to size as well would be helpfull.

you can buy the glass at Lowe's and they'll cut it for you as well.

Thanks Skorpinok! Lowes is kind of a ways for me though since the closest one i know is in fremont. I was hoping for some place local HD maybe? If not then lowes it is!

You can always use acrylic as well. It needs to be thick and reinforced on the edges, but it works. I have it in my glass sump right now and I'm using it for my new one I'm building.

Dyngo, Hows the silicone holding on to the acrylic panel? Can you give me more details on the edges being reinforced? First time putting a sump together so please bare with me! :D

yep, close to kit kat.

I used two acrylic stripes to hold the acrylic baffle in place. just use regular glass silicon to glue it.

Yes

just to let you know. if your always reaching in your sump. glass baffles are not a good idea. they are very sharp and will cut you.

Elite 08/30/2007 06:37 PM

AMC glass on Monterey. They are a little bit expensive compare to other stores. OSH's glass is very thin for big sump.
