mojano or zoas???
ok. i'm not really sure if these are mojanos or zoas. i did experiment with some joes juice on some of these in my tank. i probably have close to 2 dozen of these scattered throughout my tank. they do look like zoas so i have left them. the joes juice experiment seems to have worked on the 4 that i tried it on. however, i do not know it if would do the same thing if you squirted it directly on zoas. any help would be great.
thanks. |

They are manjano, keep going as they reproduce fast.

They are definitely pest anemones of some sort.

Um , looks like zoanthids to me. But, either way, I would recommend that you take that rock out of the water, and burn them away with a torch, or a lighter. (be careful not to inhale the fuems!, and do it outside)
If you like them, and want to see what they do, put the rock on the sand/bottom away from other rocks to control their spread. |
