Growth Rate of Emperor Angel

I want to get one as a juvenile in the future and watch it grow/mature. Exactly how fast do they grow from let's say 2"?

In a 29. No, I don't think so.

NO of course not in a 29 that would be horrible at least a 180+. But what is their growth rate?

I would suggest purchasing a specimen at least 3-4 inches. The very small ones often do not acclimate well, nor do the larger fish. At 3-4 inches, the color morph should be underway. A well fed angel kept in optimal conditions should put on 2 inches a year. They are not the fastest growing fish.
