Anyone want to help carry a tank tonight?

I have two strong helpers, but could use 1-2 more to help carry in a 360 gallon tank. I have dollies to move from car to house, but need at least 4 people to help lift. If you have time between 7-8 tonight, I live in Natomas. I can repay with frags or ??

Thanks!

I have to see how my evening folds out, but would love to help.

PM me the address..

Kim, I may be able to help if I can get the wife to take care of the kids. PM your address and I'll let you know.

oh darn........I'm going to the KINGS game tonight at 7pm
Although moving your tank might be more exciting.......:)

miracles38 01/10/2008 03:58 PM

Yes, Anne it would be way more exciting!!!

jtarmitage 01/10/2008 04:05 PM

I'm in. See you tonight Kim.

If I was taking one of the kids I'd cancel and be over in a minute but I've invited a friend and they probably wouldn't understand just how thrilling tank moving can be.
Anyway......good luck and maybe I'll stop by this weekend to check it out.

Sweet :D I am soooo jealous.

funman1 01/11/2008 12:40 PM

Man Kim, if I'd known you guys were rotozipping holes, I could have brought over my drill and holesaws..
No wonder it took so long :)

That must have been crazy to watch!!

kdblove_99 01/11/2008 02:06 PM

I wasn't going to say anything but it looked like Kevin was buckling on you guys!:)

Nice tank Kim,

Reef or FOWLR?

bladeruner143 01/11/2008 02:16 PM

What I want to know is where did you get that stand?!

miracles38 01/11/2008 03:23 PM

Awesome Jeremy! Thanks for posting those. I guess I will have to start a build thread :)

Yeah, I didn't know he was going to rotozip either, but I had ordered sch. 80 bulkheads and he didn't have a hole saw large enough. I should have thought of you Steve, you are always drilling holes for everyone. It actually did scare me - I had to walk away a couple of times!

This will be a reef with lots of fishes!

Thanks again everyone - and all of you are more than welcome to come and help with the plumbing this weekend :)

Kenny - I wish I had a budget! I am going to add what I have and hope for the best.

I got the stand from Acrylic Tank Manufacturers out of Las Vegas. They did a really great job.

kdblove_99 01/11/2008 05:32 PM

Sounds cool! I hope lots of tangs!!

How could you forget about Steve?

jeffmperez 01/12/2008 02:22 AM

Kim, I hope I am speaking for all of us that you should deffinately start a build thread after all the enjoyment we have had just helping you bring in the tank!

I truly agree with the wonderful job that they did on the stand. I've seen it in person and was very impressed with the welding and the powder coating that was done. A+

kdblove_99 01/12/2008 02:36 AM

I was curious about that stand. So when you set up your sump and all its goodies you can see it all under there?
