Lionfish and coral banded shrimp

So my question is can the two live together in a 90g tank? Plenty of rocks for hiding.

Depends on the fish. I have had a porc puffer with one for a year with no problems.
I would give it a try, and if its their in the morning then yes. Make sure you add him at night so the lion doen't think it is food.

most lions are nocturnal preds i know mine would go crazy at night basic rule with lions is if it fits in their mouth its food

may have better luck with a skunk cleaner but I would add the shrimp first and who knows how long it'll last I had a Lg pair of skunks with a snowflake eel and they were fine for 8 months then one day they were gone, $60 right down the pooper

Haha as it is with shrimp. Luckily I found my baby pistol one day digging in the front of the tank. And I thought all that damn racket was just the broken timer.:)

i had a fuzy dwarf lion in a tank with a skunk shrimp for about 5 months.

what was the first thing the shrimp did after I acclimated the lion fish? clean him up and welcome him to the new tank.

if u feed u lion a lot maybe it will last longer but I belive in the end he will eat the shrimp,I got a red pistol shrimp right now on my tank with a banana eel tiger eel v-tail grouper and a shy hamlet for over 2 years so far no problem but pistol shrimp knows how to really take care they self and hide :)

probably safe.

if he has plenty of space and rocks to hide, the shrimp should be safe.......if he's dumb enough to get eaten...then its his own fault lol

i had a lion + CBS together in a 30 gallon long tank... lived happily ever after.

here's a video of proof.
