My humble tank pictures
Just want to post some pix of my humble tank. This is a 150g, 90g sump. I got this about 6 months ago after my other 150 cracked and leaked all over the house at 2AM.

Nice
This one has a story to it. This was one of 3 frags that I first got when I first started to trade with a fellow reefer.
This was how it looks like when I got it. Then when my tank crashed and I had to set it up all over again, this is how it turned out. Would you say that it is a bit pizzed? Now, it is encrusting, growing babies and the color is drastically different from what it was. The polyps looks like a bouquet of flowers. |
My Rics neighborhood
I started out with a few rics and then I went crazy.

Another Echino
This guy was given to me as a small frag. Looks like he's happy.

My Lobo
When I got this piece, it was pink and wasn't as meaty. Now it covers about 6-7 inches across.
|
Grapes
My bubble. It was about 3-4 inches when I got it. Now it's around 7-8 inches across when opened.

My favorite
Xenias got some life. Everytime you see them pumps and move, it looks so cool. Everyone seems to say that they grow like weeds, I do see it, but my weeds grow faster than these guys. :)

Great looking Tank. No Really where did you get the Rics from? |
Some acans and babies
I got this lord when i first fragged my first colony. Brahm, if you see this thread, you got a picture of the frag I trade to you?
This is how it looks like when I got a picture from brahm. This is what it looks like when I got it. This is how it looks now. |
a lighter side
This is a funny one. A few months ago, these guys shows up in my backyard. My house has a bar gate on the side, so this mother led her young to my backyard and hung out for a couple of hours. Then she picks them up and led them away. They lined up and follows their mother everywhere. I haven't seen them since.

lchase12, thanks man, honestly I don't sell anything in my tank. Most of them I got them from etropicals.com. Others I got from the local LFS. The florida rics, I purchased online. The Yuma, I got locally.

Another acan
This one is weird. My first colony I got from another reefer who was basically selling everything in his tank. This piece was bleached out and was white. He kept it in his sump. So I got it for $30. I didn't know what it was, my friend told me that it's an Acan, he says if I don't like it then he can buy it from me. Well, since I didn't know what it was cause this was when I first started, I sold it to him cause he helped me out a lot. Then it turns out like this a few months later. Boy, I was banging my head everytime I see it. Then one day, his chiller didn't worked and most of this coral died.
So now this is how it looks like. It is currently staying with me. I'm bringing it back to life. When I got it back, it was the size of a small button. Now it's back to a full inch and is growing. The first pix was taken under VHO, now it is under 250 20K MH |
Acan
There's two type on this one rock. The eye is green. It's funny how the color changed to orange as it was kinda green in the beginning.
|
Actually, looks like there are 3 diff type of acan on that last piece.
|
the poor zoo, just minding his own business and come out of nowhere, this piece is shooting at it.
