Well, I miscalculated my stand height and i cant fit the skimmer in the stand :( going to have sell this skimmer and get a shorter one :(

Whew. That's an awesome skimmer for that price. I know that my friend in the club has a DAS EX-1 RC skimmer, and the thing skims a wicked ammount of skimmate as is. I'm almost tempted to get this, but just can't ever settle on anything with smaller than 8" body :p Also doesn't fit heightwise.

JMan, What gallon aquarium is it rated for?

It's rated for up to a 250gallon tank ....the flow rate through the skimmer is around 250 gallons per hour .... I wouldn't put it on a 250g tank though since i like to skim heavy. The 2 pumps it has on it are the AquaBee 2001/1 pumps which are really good pumps.

I have the DAS EX-1 on my 75g heavily stocked and it kicks a$$. Here is 4 days worth of skimmate;

This really is an awesome skimmer that will kick some of those huge name brand, $1,000 skimmers out of the water.
