Magnesium Chloride and Sufate ?

I just got the bulk supply of Mg chloride - hexahydrate flakes to start raising my Mg up from 1100.

Can I just use this one or do I need to add the chloride and sulfate to ionically balance the two for proper raising of Mg?

I bought the flakes not thinking I needed the other one too.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Walmart carries Mag sulfate, Epsom Salt.

The MAG flake alone is OK, but combined with mag sulfate (Epsom salt) is even better. Epsom salts alone is not a good way to go, IMO.

I compare the different DIY recipes here:

Thanks Randy, good to know! Checked that link, I see it'll be some light bedtime reading. :)
