Has anyone tried the sohal and achilles tang combo?
 

Has anyone tried to put a achilles tang after having a sohal? Fight?

I have sohal &vlamingi in same tank both 16" long had both for 5 years i think they should get along if put in at same time . Dominance thing.

I'm reconstructing my tank right now so I was wondering would a achilles and sohal get along, if they do I was gonna throw my sohal back in the tank and try to get a achilles tang. For some reason my blue tang and sohal are fighting :(

i really hope your not trying to keep a sohal and achilles in a 50g

No I wasn't going to but I currently have a sohal on my 50 and I might move it to a 120g and I wanted to buy a achilles to put in the 120 if they were to fight I was gonna put my sohal back into the 50:strooper:

a sohal isn't gonna be happy in a 120 even if it's the only tang in there. they get very big and need a ton of room to swim. the achilles would be ok in a 120, but neither is ok in a 50 for long.

i wouldnt put both those species of tangs togeather and wouldnt put either in a 50G.

Achilles need insane flow and lots of swimming room. 8' tank minimum is the only conditions I've heard them surviving in longterm. Your 120 won't work for either tangs :/.

(sheepishly) i stand corrected, i was thinking of a 125g, not a 120g. 4' isn't enough for those tangs. sorry, dude.
have you seen any of the other smaller tangs? i had a tomini in my old reef, that was a cool fish.

don't even try those tangs in a 120. bad idea... you need to do some research on the tangs before buying them.

The tang police is everywhere these days. LOL
