I have a dart NW skimmer built by Orca protein skimmer.com for my 300 gal display tank with 125 gal sump.

This is the skimmer installed.I placed a 2 liter bottle of coke next to it to give you an idea of how large it is.

How is that skimmer working out for you Steve? What is the Reaction chamber height?
|
you may take alook this one http://www.aquaticsystemsdesign.com/product_view.php?model=ps.rnw.10.12300

it works very good.I am very happy with it.It produces a steady nog.I never get the skimmer going nuts when I do a water change or over feed.It skims very steady.I always had problems with my other skimmers overflowing when I would shut the power off and then turn it back on,water changes, things like that.I have it skimming a bit wet but not very wet.I find when using the wet neck option the top of the skimmer neck stays cleaner. You still get some crud but no where near what it gets without the wet neck on,so I do see that it works. When you say the chamber do you mean from the flange to the top of the skimmer (where tho foam falls over)?Thats about 11 1/2"

I couldn't find anything on the website for one this size. |

evolust, I'm going on record that when you sell your big Dart NW skimmer, I'm first in line (notice I said when, not if, just investing in the future :) )

This is a DIY dual Beckett running off a Sequence Marlin. Its design I based off of the Barr skimmer.
