quick question 3x250watt on 7' 200 gal tank?

3x250watt mh for a 7'x2'x2' 200 gal SPS tank. is it enough?

what if 8'x2'x2' ? needs to be 3x 400watt for SPS?

I run 3 250 hqi de on a 350. The tank is not filled with SPS's but I have seen decent growth and color on the SPS's I have. My tank is also over 30" tall. I think it would depend on what you what to achieve?

i'm thinking more like SE, and full SPS with clams only. i just want to make sure i can actully put some on the sand instead of put everything on the rock..

For full sps and clams to the bottom you will require 400 watters and I would recommend 10K's at that.

I run 3X250W DE on a 300G.The dimensions are 7 1/2'X30"X24" high. It's plenty of light for all corals.I keep the SPS at the top.
