Spot on Nassarius Snail (ID?)

I was wondering if anyone could help me ID this spot on the flesh of one of my nassarius snails. The other 2 (of 3 total) in the tank have clean, white, flesh free of any blemishes. This spot appears tan to dark brown and appears to be flat/smoothe; not flowing with the natural body shape. Lil' help? Thanks in advance.

Looks like part of his body. Its like a little cover to cover the hole in their shell after they close up. It should be there on the others too, no worries.

Thanks, that was quick. Perhaps I just haven't noticed it on the others because it's the only one cruising around on the rock.

I just threw in a couple small pellets to coax them out of the sand (to take a further look-see) and you're correct, they do all have them. The other two with clean, white bodies just have smaller, very light colored ones rather than the large dark one that guy has.

Learning new stuff every day. Thanks sjfishguy.
