I'll show ya mine , if you show me yours!

Just replaced the bulbs on my 14g biocube and I thought it looked pretty nice today and i figured I would show it off. It is close to 11 months old.

How about shots of your tanks ?
Just full tank shots please ,with size and how long you have had it.
I know I am not the only one to show off their tank.

Probably not what you were looking for..:p

Hey, welcome to the world of nano tanks. Looks like you are starting out on the right foot(or should I say "fin" !)
Just make sure you keep the wine and any cleaning solutions out of that tank. Sprays especially can easily mist into that tank.
Good luck to you and I expect to see a pic of your tank real soon.

I broke down my 44g and compressed to a 24g AP

This is how it turned out. I just did the move two days ago.

I just messed with the powerheads so some of the corals arent open all the way, and some have a new home as they arent suited for the smaller tank as opposed to the 44g they were in.

dragonette- looks very nice. I like how you took the mandarin from a mature, larger system and added him to the nano.

mfp1016 10/20/2007 04:51 PM

Dragonette, I don't think your mandarin will do very well, that is, unless you have a nice big refugium that supplies an adequate copepod population. Do you?

my mandarin has been eating prepared/frozen foods since I obtained him in March of this year.

That is the only reason he is going in the nano, because I can sustain his diet.

If he wasnt eating prepared foods, he would be finding a new home.

He eats right from the tip of the turkey baster as the food comes out.

He is very active and seems overall 'healthy'

InsaneClownFish 10/20/2007 07:34 PM

woodycb- kudos on that aquascaping! I just setup a 5.5 as a quarantine and I must say I really like the footprint for a nano.

Flint&Eric 10/20/2007 07:39 PM

Thanks, this started out as an experiment. I liked it so much I thought I would put it into action. I was trying to go for unique and different.
