swimming worm??

I just went down late at night to peek in the tank (get to see more at night) and swimming crazy fast and the very top of the water were two identical dark redish orange worms swimming like snakes do, very fast never stopping. tried to take a pic but got nothing. Any idea what they are. I saw one other person post on them but that part of his post was not answered. Maybe a half of inch long, no bristles, smooth and again very fast.

Thanks!

Can't do much without a pic, but it sounds like you may have seen the reproductive stage of a polychaete worm (known as an epitoke.)
Take a look at this post: http://archive.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=843213&highlight=epitoke

I agree that the animal might have been an epitoke.

They don't look like that, no segments, all one body shape thin long ovals, cant find them now i tried to go down and take a pic but they aren't out now.
