Size: 240L modified from glasscages (93"X24"X25") with overflows in the ends
Lighting: 70 LED moonlights, 580 watts of T5 actinic, 750 watts of SE reeflux 12k, and 500 watts of DE reeflux 12k

Reactor/no reactor: calcium reactor, kalk reactor, phosban/carbon reactor

Feeding: fish(daily) - 1 sheet of nori , 5 cubes of frozen; corals(weekly) - ZoeCon, coral stimulator (from hiatt), equivalent of two cubes of home ground coral food(similar to blu method recipe)
Age: 1yr 8mo - this tank (live rock, fish and all non sps corals from previous tank that was running for 2 years)
Misc: beckett skimmer, 1 hp chiller, 75 gallon sump/fuge, and 50 gallon clam tank tied into system

hobogato, why do you have a kalk and Calcium reactor? I've seen other tanks set up like this but I'm not sure why.

the calcium reactor keeps alkalinity stable, but can cause the pH to run a little low. the kalk reactor keeps calcium high and helps raise pH. also, the kalkwasser uses the CO2 that the calcium reactor puts into the tank - [url=http://www.advancedaquarist.com/issues/feb2003/chem.htm]this[/url] article is a good read... we miss you randy.

I can vouch that this tank looks 10x better in person. You just can't see the depth in the pictures. It will have some TOTM potential down the road for sure!

Age: 6 years, but some corals, rock and fish comes fron a little one. So I have some 9 years old corals and one 9 years old centropige bispinosus
Misc: last year I have conected a 250 liters refugium

Tinytool: what are the dimensions? It looks like it's 3 ft tall! How do you place corals in it or do maintenance work if it's that deep?

Now who's going to try to come behind that tank? I'd post mine, but it's fairly new.

I feed everyother day. A mixture of allot of flakes, mysis and homeade food. I also feed ReefRoids, and oystereggs too.

Tunze modded nano streams
Tunze 9010 skimmer
5g Kalk auto top off
9w UV Sterilizer
30g sump

why do you do a Automatic 7 gallon waterchange per day? Is that the evap. rate of your tank?

I use a LMIII. From a 100 SW tank it doses 7 gallons to my display, then takes 6 gallons to my prop system, Then from my prop to the sink. I usually go thru 1.5 gallons of skimmate a day so in a 600 gallon total system the salinity stays pretty constant. Its a total of about 200 gallons a month or 33%. With the two sulfer denitrators my nitrates hang around 2-4ppm which is where I like them. So the constant waterchange isn't to battle nitrates which would probably be more efficient to do one or two big changes a month, its more for beneficial trace elements.

The evap is handled by a Tunze Osmolator which is pumped to two solenoids. Depending on the PH of the tank it goes to either kalk reactor or straight to the tank. It helps keep the PH pretty stable, not really sure if it matters or not but I like stability in the system.

By the way nice tank Robz... I hope to have colonies that big and nice in the future!!
