possible bryopsis? Need ID please

I need some help in identifying my nuisance algae. From searches on the site I believe it is a form of Bryopsis, but I am not sure. Here is what I can tell you about it. It is green, very wirey. Like little brisstley bushes. It takes a pair of pliers to pull off the rock, sometimes taking a small chunk of rock with it. It grows on live rock, on corraline algae on the back glass, and on loose shells in the sand. This is not soft like hair algae, it stays tough even after it dries out. My only questionable water parameter is my alk. 5.6 dKH which I am working on bringing it up. Tank 75 gallons and live rock are 8 years old. I am posting two pics, if this is bryopsis, will the magnesium trick work for this stuff? I brought a sample to the LFS and a big Naso tang ate it when it was suspended in water, however my Naso will not. Please any help is greatly appreciated. I hope my first attempt at posting pics works.
Mark

hi mark it does look like bryopsis,if the stems are hollow it would be enteromorpha. I personally would consentrate on checking your po4 no3 change lights if they are over 12 months old. good dave.
