Skimmer pump died
 

I have to wait until I can get a new one, but what should i do until then?

water changes. weekly depending on your bio load would depend on how much. heavy go for a little more than a norma water change that you would do.

Definately the wrong forum for your question but my question is did you take it apart and clean/soak it in vinegar?

I wouldn't do anything special. Many folks don't skim, and if you are talking a week or so, there no big problem in most cases.

lesson learned i hope, always keep 2 skimmer pumps and 2 return pumps...........
