Opinions on AB 10k and colors

I am setting up a new system with 2 250w HQI on a blue wave ballast and two 54w Supre Actinic T5. I have a 10k AB bulb but the colors don't seem that great. Do my SPS need to adjust or should i just go with all Phoenix 14k's?

I ran the 10K AB 250w DE bulbs for a year. They were high powered bulbs, but the colour just wasn't very good. They really made my corals look brown. My A. kimbeensis that should've looked more blue always looked bright white with a little bit of purple.

I would go with the Reeflux 12K bulbs if you havn't tried them yet. They are what I switched to and have been great so far.

On the left side, I used AB 10000K 250W with 130W arctic, but it is still yellowish. On the right side, I used 2 250W 14000K, it is pretty good look.

i've had some of my best real color under just a 250w DE AB10K.

it only looks bad because the 14K next to it. turn off the 14's and the yellow goes away.

I was wondering that after I posted. Those two 14ks are probably over powering it.
