Should I buy it?

I'm getting an itchy finger, it is a NICE lens ;).

Edit: For those not in the know, the Canon 1200mm L is not only the largest lens Canon has ever made, its also the most expensive and as far as I know the rarest. Literally only a handful of these were ever made (had to be custom made) and there probably are only a handful of people on the planet that even KNOW exactly who has them. ;)

Satori 01/09/2008 05:30 PM

I don't see why not. Splurge a little, you deserve it! :)

drauka99 01/09/2008 05:30 PM

I was wondering when you would see it , Jeffrey already has it on order :D

change over to Nikon and you can get a 1200-1700 zoom :D only 15 ever made

Ritten 01/09/2008 05:32 PM

No. You should not. Go to the dentist. :)

Jeffrey CAN'T have it because I'm getting ready to put my order in! He can't! He can go play with his little lenses and leave these REAL lenses for me! ME! ME! ME!

Live504 01/09/2008 05:33 PM

MarkS 01/09/2008 05:34 PM

You could buy a small telescope and have an adapter machined for less than that.

Dino, tell you what, economize. Say you spot a grizzly you want a shot of, you just sneak up on him, wave hi, get him to say cheezeburger---get your shot with a simple lens...real nice teeth---
Then climb a tree fast!
