Baby dead man's fingers - How to get rid of it!!

I purchased a large speciman of this plant and put it in my aquarium. After it had been in there about two weeks I decided to give it away. Now I have a problem with baby plants growing all in my tank. IS THERE ANY REEF SAFE FISH OR INVERTS THAT WILL EAT THIS TYPE OF ALGAE? Any help will be appreciated.

Neat. I'm afraid I can't help you, but I'd like to know where you got it and the lighting requirements?

KW, I'm surprised you're finding it that invasive. In my tanks, it does frag itself regularly, but I just pick them out....dunno what will eat it.

PB, it seems pretty tolerant of conditions. For me it grows faster under high flow, but does okay under low flow as well. It does seem to prefer pretty good light.

PB - I ordered it from a seller on ebay. I checked, and they do not have any for sell at this time. lancer99 answered your questions about lighting. - Thanks

Lancer - The pic is just a small sampling of what it really looks like. It is all over my 75 gal tank. I am going to pick it off as I do water changes. I am glad you are not experiencing the same problem. I think mine must have gone sexual and released a tank full of spores. - Thanks

Sorry, my baby is pushing buttons and posted before I was typing! I keep moving him away from the computer but he's getting quick.

I have a little of this stuff in my tank--it came with my live rock. Didn't know what it was called! I hope it does take off; it looks neat.

Maybe you could sell yours or trade it in at an LFS for something else you want.

I have not heard of Codium becomming a problem in reef tanks and I will speculate that it will pass on its own. Diadema urchins and rabbitfish are the best general grazers of macroalgae IME, but I don't know if either would graze Codium.
