Think they are Neon Skies

They look different to me, maybe a different subspecies.

Snowreefer 12/20/2006 06:19 PM

I was thinking that too. But the lighting ppl use varies. The Neon skies have the Brown skirts with blue and the white mouth same as these. even the stripes radiating from the center. The zoaid picture probably just has the contrast jacked up.

First off those are very nice! But I don't think they're the same. Yours are palys correct? The ones on zoaid appear to be small like zoas. Jmo

Snowreefer 12/20/2006 06:27 PM

hmmm maybe i found a new one LOL. yes and they definately are paly's or the largest zoas on earth

Dr.FuManchu 12/25/2006 11:05 AM

Protopalythoas. Size alone is no guarantee they are Palys. If they have sand embedded in the coenenchyme and they have independent stalks then they are palys.

chrisstie 12/25/2006 11:42 AM

You could call them Barnum and Baleys Greatest Zoa on Earth palys ;p

I have the same palys they look alot like the same SP as the purple deaths IMO. I would like to here what other think about this zoas SP.If I am the only one seeing some close resembalance. Here is mine they seem to grow fast when feed.

I agree, they have similar coloration, but are not the same.
Yet, they are truely incredible looking.:)

Did you recently submit these to zoaid? I could of sworn I just saw this zoa get entered for naming.

The skirts have green stripes, but the ZoaID pic doesn't show them well.

I don't do any cheating on the pics. Just the autobalance feature on the software.

Here's an old pic. 14k Hamiltons. No actinics.

I took the picture with a 14k Powerpaq no actinics.
