Hey Lunchbucket,
It good to see you with a decent sized tank..! Thanks for the wonderful pics and documentation over the last few years.... I just recently spent some time on your WWW site lusting after your Euroreef ES5-2, GREAT PICS! Thanks, Todd |

I need to follow this thread :) |
Those American DJ switches sure have become popular around here.
I just wish they came more spread out so you could fit timers on them without adding the extensions!! Looking good lunch, cant wait till its up and runnin! |
shaw - hmm, not sure the EXACT difference but the motor is beefed up and the outlets are 1"... check out the website www.oceansmotions.com or talk to golf nut on this board...he is the owner/inventor
jester777 - yeah it is a sweet top off...hmm any reason you like it? Todd March - yeah it is nice to get into a NORMAL sized tank :D i have been waiting MANY MANY years :D i'm excited!!! hey no prob on the documentation and updates...it is fun and heck if someone can learn along the way GREAT!!! Triterium - i don't know if you NEED to but it is a nice thought and makes me feel special :D Creade - yeah they have been VERY popular...i thought i remember hearing about that timers didn't fit...that just sucks. what extensions did you use? i think i am gonna attach the DJ units facing outward on teh back side of the tank. Lunchbucket |
Hey Lunchbucket, thought you were going to go with a cube... give up on that? or are you getting TWO tanks?!?! ;) Sweet set up.

Fill it up already and stop the tease show :D
That looks AWSOME! I didn't even notice the mismatched hood until you pointed it out |
well at least you know flow wont be a problem :D
the tank looks great lunchbucket, you went all out on this one, and if its anything like your 20 gallon this one will be amazing. You have done a really nice setup. Looks great. |
Lunchbucket that is looking sweeet! :) Dude, judging by how nice your last setup looks, I can tell this tank is going to look awesome. :)
Cant wait to see it full of corals. :) |
Looking good ... I see you got the plumbing strapped.
|
I can't wait to see it. Just wish you had chosen a different tank size as that's the one I have and I don't want to have to compare.
Great sized tank, I think you'll be very happy. Just hope you have a good reflector to spread that light out ... 3' can give some shadows with 1 MH I thought. Looking great, but I sure hope you move it from somewhere other than next to your furnace. Don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to hang out around there all the time ;) |
keep it up Bucket two thumbs up can u pm me how u did ur closed loop thx Beaver
|
I love that wave maker setup bro. Looking really good!
|

Sweet setup!! Very nice work!
|
Dude, you're movin' on up.
The setup looks great. I'm very interested in hearing your experience with the blueline pump. You've certainly stepped-up to the plumbing and kicked it's arse. Nice work. I'm pretty excited to see what you can accomplish with the new tank. Best of luck. E. |
Bucket if u could list what u used like a parts list and a detailed list of directions i would really appriciate it very much i have read ur posts on others threads and u and i are on the same page Thanks Beaver
|
you mentioned you wanted black PVC. most home depots at least in my area carry black PVC. i used regular white for most of the plumbing then the black for the elbows that show in the tank. also you could use those balck plastic ball joint pipes.(they remind me of kinex or tinker toys). they are also nice because they are adjustable.
|
Very sweet setup. Con't wait to see the pix when you get it filled.
