WTB: Ozone generator.

I could like to try this one. Please, anyone want to sell let me know.

Thank.

When used properly you can get outstanding results. Be sure to run carbon on any "air escapes". Good luck with the search. Oh ya... check the for sale forum. Ive seen some nice units in there.

Ah. Someone on this reefcentral got mine. Now I want to have it with the help of someone posted in here.

reef_doug 01/10/2008 06:01 PM

I believe I bought it and sold it to Greg Carroll after 1 month (worked great, only because I'm on the ZEO thing).

I am thinking about these: http://www.enaly.com/OZX-300AT.htm

Any ideal?

ENS 01/10/2008 10:21 PM

The enaly unit looks nice, but I cannot tell from the link how expensive. If yu are interested, I recently had recommended to me by another reefer a unit that works well and is now on sale from $249 down to only $99. Here is a link the the T500 model that I just got this week: http://www.awesomepoolproducts.com/ozone2.html
I'm adding it to my new 465gl system (225 tank - 240 sump).

How do you hook up the ozonizer? reactor or skimmer.

How do you hook up the ozonizer? reactor or skimmer.
Generally, most people hook it to their skimmer, usually with a JG quick connect. Some skimmers come equiped with the JG connection as an option for this purpose. This method helps reduce the off-gassing and makes it more efficient.

Redbug01 01/11/2008 09:48 PM

does it affect to the skimmer pump?

derick2724 01/11/2008 11:20 PM

Can you connect the ozonizer to a euro reef or Bubble master skimmer or do you have to mod it?

reef_doug 01/12/2008 12:30 AM

Either one it will work. You put a "T" fitting on the air intake and pump it in that way.
