He is usually 3 times the diameter that what you see in the picture.

I have checked the water last week and there are no problems...he has been like this for about two weeks now.

Thanks.

Do you run carbon? Sometimes other softies can release toxins which will keep a leather shriveled up.

Also, do you notice if it has a mucous tunic? You may want to add a little flow to the area to help it shed its tunic, and keep the polyps moving.

Its not uncommon for leathers to shrivel up for periods of time, and when the open back up, they are bigger then before.

It's hard to tell, but is it white? That's not a color I've ever seen. As well, it appears to have a snail crawling on it, which will indeed irritate it and cause it to close.

Definitely watch out for signs of decay.

Just give it some time. I've had my Sarco's go over a month in their 'not so happy looking' phase. As Nagel said, make sure it is getting at least medium flow to remove mucous, etc. and it should be fine. Don't worry until it starts melting and falling apart;).

The astrea isn't helping it much either. :D Most toads go through stages where they look sickly and then come back. I'd wait it out if all other params check out.
