You know you live in a small town...
When the local radio station brings in Blanka the pot bellied pig to be interviewed
|
LOL Awesome!
|
In OTHER news, the new traffic light which people have been calling in about for weeks now will be turned on today :D.
|
And Letitia Jones has won the 5th grade spelling bee. By the way the Anderson's Gurnsey bull has jumped the fence again and if you spot him phone Jeff and he'll be right over.

 It's rough aint it. We actually have had murders here. One was even a good friend of Dan's neice, the killer!
|
 We had a murder here a few years ago, it was just a few months after I graduated HS. And it was somebody I knew (not real well, but being a small town and going to school with the same people for 12 years you know everybody :p).

My town doesn't even have a real traffic light, just a blinking yellow. And it certainly doesn't have a radio station. If you want to hear a pig get interviewed, you just head down to the gas station, since that's pretty much the only gathering place. |
Since we're comparing small towns, the town where I spent the first 18 years of my life had 3 stop signs on Main Street. We had to drive 90 miles to see a traffic light. :)

The local paper had a social page that was full of "Mrs. Tom Duncan called upon Mrs. George Smith for coffee Sunday afternoon at her White Butte home."
:) |

They probably still do have it in the print version. I haven't seen a hard copy in many years. They do still have the 10, 25, 50, and 75 years ago section but only in print, not online. The town paper where I grew up actually reported that "Tilly found a tick on her husband last week. She pulled it off with no problem".
