Raccoon Butterfly

I am looking for opinions on adding a raccoon butterfly to a 7 month old 120g. The tanks curent inhabitance are 2 tangs (hippo and yellow), 5 dispar anthias, a purple firefish and 3 cleaner shrimp. Plus various crabs and snails. The tank has a 17g fuge and a 20g sump with a skimmer. Although I am ready to take my zoos out, is it possible that the raccoon would leave them alone.

I would remove the zoos otherwise the raccoon will eat them.

Yeah thats what I thaught, zoos out.

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm new to the site. What's a "zoo" in this context?

My raccoon is coming out of QT tomorrow and I had to move 2 starfish from the main over to the fuge so they wouldn't get eaten.

Zoos are Zoanthid corals. They are very similar to anemones except some are alot more colourful and all of them are alot smaller.

Will he eat any shrimp in there.

I am not too sure actually. I know that he will eat corals, tube worms etc but not too sure on shrimps and crabs. Personally, I would not take the chance with shrimp.

Should be fine with the shrimps. Just watch the corals.

Other than the zoo's what other Class of corals is the Racoon laible to eat? I have seen some work great in xenia tanks, not touching a one. Just worried about my mushrooms if I were to add a Racoon to my tank in the future.

I think that mushrooms are zoos to be precise.

perky [/B][/QUOTE] Or this one

Any information how this fish deals with the toxin of the Zoa? (known to be one of them most potent in nature)

Well thanks for your advice but I got myself a copperbanded instead. Figured he would be a good addition. Since I already have yellow fish, the copperbandeds orange will add to the colour scheme. He is about 3 inches long and seams to eat out of the water column. I put a rock covered in feather dusters into his qt tank so he can pick at it and pick he does. He will have a field day when I put him in my 120, it has tons of feather dusters all over the place.
