some noobie questions

I am starting up a 120 gal tank, we have 2X96Actinic 2X150W MH I wanted to get a frogspawn, bubble tip, and wall hammer. The LR we are going to purchase usually has a few cup corals and such.

Are the 3 corals I wanted to purchase good for 1st experience with corals?

As far as QTing goes, if the corals come from a coral only tank, how long do they need to be QT'd? Is it the same 2 month period like fish?

And if this last question is just wrong, I got it from one of the advertisers on this site. Is it a good idea to use super glue to put them in the tank?

Super Glue Gel... Works well... just hold in place for 15-20 seconds and it's good to go...

Unless the coral you plan on getting was raised via test tube in a sterile envirnonment, QT should always be advised, NO MATTER WHAT. Hitch hikers come in all shapes and sizes, and what may innitially come in may not bother the variety of corals you have at the time, but could down the road. For example, zoa eating nudibranchs, could come in as an egg sack, everything cool for the next month or two thinking it's ok to add more coral so you add some zooanthids, and then they hatch. And you just introduced them to a big smorgisboard, and secured their stay in your system untill you can erradicate them. One example but quite a few similar possibilities.
