Help me ID a hitchiker (pic included)

I found this little guy on a new piece of shroom rock that I bought. Didn't realize he was on there until we got home.

At first I thought he was an apstasia, but he doesn't look like the typical 'stasia. Short, kinda squatty, and has a greenish tint under my T5's.

Any idea? He's been drawn up, but these are the best shots I could get:

It looks a bit like a small Elegance coral.

Interesting...I can't see the foot/base. Isn't an Elegance an LPS?

Perhaps the stony base is incorporated into the LR.

Possible Rock Anemone? Anyone?

gsoaxionsk8 01/01/2008 09:06 PM

its not an elegance, or any type of stony coral. looks like a mahjno anemone. ( not sure about the spelling)

I don't think it's majano, but it does look like some kind of anemone. How big around is it?

its cute, I'd keep it, but watch it to see if it attacks the 'shrooms around it.
