Help me ID a hitchiker (pic included)
I found this little guy on a new piece of shroom rock that I bought. Didn't realize he was on there until we got home.
At first I thought he was an apstasia, but he doesn't look like the typical 'stasia. Short, kinda squatty, and has a greenish tint under my T5's. Any idea? He's been drawn up, but these are the best shots I could get: |
It looks a bit like a small Elegance coral.
Interesting...I can't see the foot/base. Isn't an Elegance an LPS?
Perhaps the stony base is incorporated into the LR.

Possible Rock Anemone? Anyone?
its not an elegance, or any type of stony coral. looks like a mahjno anemone. ( not sure about the spelling)
I don't think it's majano, but it does look like some kind of anemone. How big around is it?
I would say its a rock anemone but thats just my .02
