ro/di and skin
if you soak your arm or foot in ro/di water what would it do to your skin? or for people that have skin problems???

It's just pure, deionized water. It would get it wet.
|
It would probably make it kind of wrinkly, like a raisin.:D

I agree with the wet part. Pretty good chance it wouldn't stay dry but try it and see what happens.

For part of an answer to the question about the skin problem, I have read that filtered water would be better for showering or bathing as it removes all of the chlorine and other garbage which does not help with psoriasis/eczema. Not sure if it is proven or not but must say common sense would make you think that it can only benefit.

Bathing with luke-warm rather than hot water will help with eczema. Moisturize when you get out. Don't waste your time filtering your bath water unless your aim is to prevent build up in the plumbing.

[/B][/QUOTE] I would like to clarify, for those thinking of buying a filtration system for improvement of eczema or psoriasis, that it would be money wasted. However, there are many other benefits of having a home filtration system. |
