i only feed them when i can't get to the .22. if i left them alone, i'd never have any birds around.

although i did enjoy it last summer when the hawk moved in. she took care of a few for me!

:mad2: Blasted squirrels, it seems there is always one around the house here that gets into my feeders through the day. Its become the boys' official job that every time one shows up to go out and run it off. :D

The only squirrels we have around here are the two living in our TV room :)

I think it's because the neighbourhood feral barn cats tend to kill off any wildlife around here. The neighbour's cat killed all the hummingbirds we had around. The most we've got is the chipmunks that live under our ramp.
