sundials and spiders oh my

I purchased a new zoa a few months back and it came with sundial snails and a creapy Pycnogonid sea spider.
I got most of the snails off, but the spider go away.
I freshwater dipped the zoa rock for 10 mins and more sundial snails popped off, but not the spider :(
Will a six line wrasse eat the rest of the sundial snails? What about the spider? Theres no way i can get him, does anyone eat him?? or is he not much of a threat and all the damage is stemming from the sundials?

nothing will eat the suindial. watch the tank at night. put a red filter of the flashlight, and snag him up. i lost an enitre colony of zoas to 1 before i caught him.

Can any one post a picture of this snail. I have some new guests crawling around my reef that may fit this bill which I believed hitch hiked in. I have blamed most of my recent Zoa destruction on giant pods and anaconda-like bristle worms.

If you have similarly patterned snails that arent on your zoas and tend to have tan or pink or something else besides black checkers.......those are collonistas and good guys. The tell tale sign of sundials is the cone of death coming out of their head. Chances are if the recent hitchhikers you see are out roaming around......they arent sundials

I thought some hallicoris wrasses ( might spelled wrong ) will go after smaller inverts and SNAILS.

those spiders a re a PITA to get off the zoos...i had to pull with tweezers all night long to get rid of mine...plus when they come off they tend to shred the zoa they were on...as they dont seem to let go...

i think the sundials are too small for wrasses to go after (even though they eat pods like crazy)...but i am pretty sure coris wrasses and lunar wrasses will eat snails...i have seen them both flip snails over and tear them out of the shells..dragon wrasse is pretty dangerous toward crabs and shrimp not sure about snails though..
