Time for a new fish. Ideas please
I think I'm about ready for my fourth fish but I have little clue as to what I want. I have one clown fish, a flame angel and a pyjama fish. Any ideas?

my $.02 - Gramma loreto or royal gramma
http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.php?id=5281 click on the picture for other views http://www.aquahobby.com/marine/e_loreto.php http://www.oceanlight.com/lightbox.php?sp=gramma_loreto I had great success with mine. Very colorful - staked out a "cave" in the live rock and hung out there - almost always visible. Would come out on occasion, esp. feeding time, and to defend its cave - rushing out, mouth open, etc. but only threat behavior. No one else paid any attention. :D Would sleep by hanging upside down in the cave. Great looking fish, and hardy. |
Ya I have to 2nd that I think Gramma are neat fish, and are very Inexpensive. If you have some rock work they will find a nice cave or hole to make there home.

second clownfish, much better in pairs IME

A second clown is very cool. Instead of the royal gramma, if you can get your hands on a Brazilian Gramma, I think they look better. But both are good fish.

Yellow watchman goby... One of my favorite little fish to watch.
